Wooden furniture is beautiful, easy to care for and classic. Quality wood furniture can last for generations when properly maintained.

To clean: Remove residue with a damp cotton cloth. You can use warm water on a damp cloth if necessary. Always test on an inconspicuous area first. Remove any soap residue with a clean damp cloth. Dry with a clean cloth.

To protect: Use coasters or other protection to avoid direct contact with wet, cold or hot objects. Use felt pads under any objects that will be placed on your furniture and that may cause scratches, e.g. lamps, coasters, decoration. Keep your wooden furniture away from any heat sources, moisture sources, vents and direct sunlight to prevent fading, fading and warping.

For minor touch-ups: For minor scratches or dents, rub a marker, shoe polish, or furniture pen of the corresponding color over the damaged area to make it less noticeable. Water marks: These marks, like the white ring left on a glass, are caused by excess moisture. To remove the watermark, you will need to remove the moisture. In some cases, the moisture will eventually dissipate on its own. To speed up the process, you can use a hair dryer set below 160 degrees F. There are also commercial products that will help remove watermarks.
