For minor touch-ups: For minor scratches or dents, rub a marker, shoe polish, or furniture pen in the corresponding color over the damaged area to make it less noticeable.

To clean: Vacuum the upholstery moving from left to right in short, overlapping lines.

To treat stains: Attack stains with the appropriate water- or solvent-based cleaner. Let the cleaner absorb and then dab it with a microfiber cloth. Do not rub the stain, as the action could push the stain further into the upholstery or damage the fabric.
